DASA stands for Direct Admission to Students Abroad. Govt. of India designed this educational scheme for deserving foreign nationals students and NRI's. With this scheme Govt. India wants to give quality education to the children of overseas Indians in the field of Engineering and technology.
Under the DASA scheme admissions are possible in NIT Sikkim.

About NIT Sikkim
This NIT was established in 2010. It’s known as NITSKM. They have very good facilities for students. Having a bank, a good library, cafeteria, a sports ground, hostels, and medical facilities as well.

Answer 1: Every NIT has some quota for NRIs. It calls DASA and every year admissions are taken through this quota.
