NRIs / OCIs & PIOs Eligibility For NEET Examinations
To be eligible for the NEET (UG) - 2025, candidates are required to have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English individually, with a minimum of 50% marks combined in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Bio-technology in their qualifying examination, as specified in the Regulations of NMC and DCI. Furthermore, they must secure a rank in the merit list of NEET (UG) - 2025 to be considered for admission to Undergraduate Medical Courses.
NRI NEET Eligibility Criteria 2025 – Age Limit:
The candidate must have reached 17 years of age either at the time of admission or will attain that age on or before 31 December of the year of admission to the first year of the Undergraduate Medical Course.
The lower age limit criteria are as follows:
For General (UR)/General-EWS candidates, born on or before 31.12.2007.
For SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD Category candidates.
NRI NEET Eligibility Criteria 2025 – Attempts:
Regarding the upper age limit, according to Letter No. U-11022/2/2022-UGMEB dated 09 March 2022 from the National Medical Commission (NMC), Under Graduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB), there is no upper age limit specified.
NRI NEET Eligibility Criteria 2025 – State Quota:
Any Indian Resident, (NRI) Non-Resident Indian, (OCI) overseas citizen, (PIO) Person of Indian Origin is eligible for admission in Medical/Dental Colleges in India subject to rules and regulations which is framed by the State Governments, Institution and the Government of India (GOI).
Foreign nationals: For the Foreign nationals they are expected to confirm their eligibility from the Concerned Medical/Dental college/state.

How to Apply Online for NEET 2024:
NEET 2024 online application forms have released by NTA on 09 February 2024. The mode of release of the application form is only online based and application fees same as the last year. The last date of NEET Registration will be 09 March. Candidates are allowed to submit the fee of NEET 2024 application form till 09 March up to 11.50 PM in case of online payment and till the banking hours in case payment is through E-challan. You will be competing with scores of other candidates for getting admission MBBS seat in private and Government Medical colleges on Pan India basis.
