Qualifying JEE Main does not automatically guarantee a DASA seat. Admission depends on Common Rank List position, candidate category, choice order, seat availability and satisfaction of all DASA and institute-specific eligibility conditions.

CIWG stands for Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries. It is a reserved category within DASA UG for eligible NRI candidates whose either or both parents satisfy the prescribed Gulf employment condition.
The following Gulf countries are included under the 2026 CIWG framework:
For the 2026 cycle, either parent must be working or have worked in an eligible Gulf country till any date in 2026, and the required supporting documents must be produced.
DASA seats are supernumerary and are limited to up to 15% of the programme-wise institute intake.
Within this framework, 5% of total institute intake is reserved for CIWG. This means one-third of DASA seats are reserved for CIWG.
Any CIWG seat remaining vacant during the 2026 allocation process is converted to a Non-CIWG DASA seat during Round II.
