USA-based NRI students targeting AIIMS MBBS admission in 2027 should know that there is no separate AIIMS MBBS admit card. AIIMS admission is through NEET UG, so students must download the NEET UG 2027 admit card issued by NTA.
Current status as of September 2026: the NEET UG 2027 admit card release date has not yet been announced by NTA. Do not use the old AIIMS 2021 admit-card date shown in the previous version of this page.
| Item | 2027 Status | What USA-Based NRI Students Should Do |
| Separate AIIMS MBBS Admit Card | Not applicable | Use the NEET UG admit card issued by NTA. |
| NEET UG 2027 Admit Card Release Date | Not announced yet | Track the official NTA NEET portal. |
| Exam-City Intimation | To be announced | Use it only for advance city planning. The exact centre comes from the admit card. |
| NEET UG 2027 Exam Date | To be officially announced | Avoid non-refundable travel plans until NTA confirms the schedule and centre details. |
Older AIIMS pages may still refer to an “AIIMS admit card” because AIIMS once conducted a separate MBBS entrance examination. That system is no longer used for MBBS admission.
| Old System | Current MBBS System |
| AIIMS entrance admit card | NEET UG admit card |
| AIIMS MBBS entrance exam | NEET UG |
| AIIMS entrance result | NEET score and All India Rank |
| AIIMS entrance counselling | MCC UG counselling |
For the original NEET UG 2026 examination scheduled for 3 May 2026, NTA released the admit card on 26 April 2026. Candidates were instructed to download it using their login credentials from the official NEET website. NTA also stated that information about the allotted examination centre was available on the admit card.
Do not treat 26 April as the 2027 release date. It is only the latest completed-cycle reference. NTA will issue a separate notice for NEET UG 2027.

Preparing for AIIMS from the USA involves more than downloading the NEET admit card. NRI students also need to understand eligibility, U.S.-to-NEET syllabus gaps, exam-day planning, documents and the MCC counselling process.
Download the Free NEET NRI eBook for a practical guide to NEET preparation and MBBS admission planning from abroad.
NTA may specify the exact documents, photographs, identity proof and other permitted items for NEET UG 2027. USA-based candidates should follow the 2027 admit card and information bulletin exactly rather than relying on an old checklist.
If the name, photograph, exam details or another important field appears incorrect, contact NTA through the official 2027 support channel as soon as possible. Do not independently edit the PDF.

When will the AIIMS admit card 2027 be released?
There is no separate AIIMS MBBS admit card. Students should download the NEET UG 2027 admit card when NTA releases it. As of September 2026, that release date has not been announced.
Where can NRI students download the admit card?
Use the official NEET/NTA portal. Do not download the admit card from unofficial websites.
Will the admit card be sent by post to the USA?
Students should expect to download the admit card online. In the latest official cycle, NTA required candidates to download it using their login credentials.
Does the city-intimation slip show the exact exam centre?
The city-intimation document is for advance city information. The final allotted examination-centre information is provided on the admit card.
Can a U.S.-based student use only a digital admit card?
Follow the final 2027 NTA instructions. Print the admit card exactly as required rather than assuming a phone copy will be accepted.
What if my admit card has an error?
Contact NTA through the official support details for the 2027 cycle immediately. Do not alter the admit card yourself.
Do I need the admit card after the exam?
Keep a digital and printed copy with your NEET records until the admission process is complete.
