No. NEET is not held at any city in the United States. A student in California, Texas, New Jersey, New York or Illinois still travels to India or to an overseas city that the live NTA form actually shows.
The last published bulletin listed 14 examination cities outside India. That list is a planning map for 2027, not a promise. The preferred city is a request. The venue is the admit card.
The last published NEET UG Information Bulletin did not name any examination city in the United States. A US address, US passport, OCI card or NRI status does not create an American centre. Do not wait for a US city unless NTA issues a formal notice.
This is true in every state families ask about.
The bulletin does not give a reason for leaving the USA out. Do not treat “low demand” or “permissions” as an official NTA line. Use the cities the 2027 form actually displays.
The centre decision is only the exam week. The eBook is for the papers, seats and counselling that start after the score.
Fourteen cities outside India were listed in that cycle. The USA was not among them. A city on this board is not a guarantee that it will appear in every 2027 form, or that NTA will allot the first preference.
Jakarta is not on that overseas list. Saudi Arabia is Riyadh only. The UAE row is Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. Confirm the live 2027 form before you talk as if a city is open.
The paper, the marking and the evaluation do not get easier outside India. Pick the place that lets the student sleep, eat and reach the gate on time. The full apply-and-sit sequence is on the USA apply path.
Being NRI or holding a US passport does not set the application fee. The last published cycle charged a separate amount when the centre was outside India.

No. The last published list had no US city. For 2027, plan on India or an overseas city that the live form shows.
No. The last published cycle was a pen-and-paper exam at an allotted physical centre. Home, school or a private US testing room is not a NEET centre.
