KVPY Exam Result
The results of the KVPY exam will be announced through the official website.
The result of the aptitude test for KVPY-SA, KVPY-SB and KVPY-SX streams shall be published individually. The next step for the candidates who have succeeded in the aptitude test shall be KVPY interview. The final merit list based on the aptitude test (75% weightage) and interview (25% weightage) will be announced subsequently for each category and stream. Those who are selected for the KVPY scholarship can check the official website using their login data and date of birth. The procedure shall be as follows:
1. Visit the official website. i.e. www.kvpy.iisc.ernet.in
2. Click on the Result Tab on the page that appears on the screen
3. Log in using your Application Number & Date of Birth.
4. Click on the link for checking KVPY Result.
5. Take printouts for future reference.
Re-evaluation of KVPY 2018 Result
In case the candidate is not happy with the result can apply for re-evaluation of the OMR answer sheet. The fees for the re-evaluation of OMR answer sheet is Rs. 1000/-. This amount shall have to be remitted by Demand Draft favouring the Registrar, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore – 12, payable at Bangalore.

Candidates are advised to check their exam centres mentioned on their admit cards. Please note that no request to change the test centre will be admitted or entertained in any case.
Few Important Points Related to KVPY Result
- Result 2017 Dates is tentatively in December
- The KVPY Result which will be declared once all the answer sheets have been evaluated can be seen on the websites.
- KVPY Cut off 2017 is varying for each stream.
- The KVPY Result is published in PDF format streamwise. The KVPY answer key is expected to be released in mid of November enabling the candidates a self-assessment. Candidates can also check the KVPY Cut off to find out their eligibility for the scholarship.
- Aptitude Test is carried out in two sections with four sections in each part. The weightage is 75%
- In the interview process of KVPY, the knowledge of the candidate in the field of science is tested. The weightage is 25%.
- The cumulative performance of the KVPY test and interview will form the basis of the scholarship grant. The coveted KVPY scholarship gives the candidate a scholarship of Rs.80000 for the graduation program and Rs. 1.2 Lakh scholarship discount for a postgraduate program.
- The number of scholarships per year is not fixed.
- Annual renewal of KVPY Fellowships will depend on the academic performance
