Cut Off
KVPY Exam Cutoff
Based on the scores received by the candidates in the aptitude test and the interview are the criteria for the cut off the mark for the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) scholarship by the Indian Institute of Science (IISC) Bangalore. Essentially the weightage given to the aptitude test is 75 % and for the interview is 25%.
The cut off announcement is scheduled for the first week December every year. The same shall be available at the official website. The first cut off based on the aptitude test shall be published by which the candidates who are a short list for the interview will be known. The second and last cut off list will be published once both the phases , i.e. aptitude test and interview are completed.
The cut off for different categories (General, SC/ST/PWD categories) and streams of KVPY 2018 will be announced. The basics of cut off mark will depend on the
1. Number of candidates,
2. Available seats, and
3. The difficulty level of the question paper.

KVPY is a scholarship programme which is funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India and conducted by Indian Institute of Science Bangalore/
On the official KVPY website - Candidates can still check their category and stream wise KVPY cutoff.
The authority will release two cut-offs to shortlist candidates for the award of fellowship/scholarship. The first cut-off will be released after the conduct of the aptitude test to select candidates for the second stage of selection process, i.e. the interview. The final merit list will be prepared by providing 75% weightage to the aptitude test and 25% weightage to interview.
KVPY Schlarship program is promoted by DST ( Department of Sciece & Technology), KVPY is conducted anually by Indian Institute of Science Bangalore.
