KVPY Exam Result
The results of the KVPY exam will be announced through the official website.
The result of the aptitude test for KVPY-SA, KVPY-SB and KVPY-SX streams shall be published individually. The next step for the candidates who have succeeded in the aptitude test shall be KVPY interview. The final merit list based on the aptitude test (75% weightage) and interview (25% weightage) will be announced subsequently for each category and stream. Those who are selected for the KVPY scholarship can check the official website using their login data and date of birth. The procedure shall be as follows:
How to Check KVPY Result 2025
Visit the Official KVPY Website:
Go to the official KVPY website: kvpy.iisc.ernet.in.
Click on the Result Link:
Look for the Result 2025 link under the "Announcements" section or on the homepage.
Login with Credentials:
Enter your Application Number and Password (these were generated during the application process).
View and Download Your Result:
Your result will appear on the screen.
Verify the details such as your marks, status (Qualified or Not), and your Rank (if available).
Download or take a screenshot for future reference.
Check Merit List:
You can also check the merit list for your stream (SA/SX/SB).
Qualifying for the Fellowship:
To be eligible for the KVPY Fellowship, candidates need to meet the following criteria:
Candidates who qualify the exam are awarded the KVPY Fellowship.
The fellowship is granted to the top-ranking students in the merit list based on their performance in both MAT and SAT exams.
Specific cut-off marks for each stream will be announced alongside the results.
Important Notes:
No Physical Results: The results are announced online, and candidates must check them via the official website.
Admit Card/Results Discrepancy: If there are any discrepancies in the result, contact the KVPY helpline for resolution.
Result Status: Candidates who are not selected will be informed about their non-selection status.
Result Post-Announcement:
KVPY Fellowships will be awarded based on the merit list.
The results are typically available for Stream SA, Stream SX, and Stream SB.
Re-Evaluation of KVPY 2025 Result
Since the KVPY exam has been discontinued as of July 2022, there will be no KVPY 2025 result and, consequently, no re-evaluation process.
Few Important Points Related to KVPY Result
KVPY Exam Discontinued – The Government of India discontinued the KVPY aptitude test in July 2022.
Merger with INSPIRE – The KVPY fellowship program has been merged with the INSPIRE (Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research) program under the Department of Science and Technology (DST).
No KVPY Result 2025 – Since the KVPY exam is no longer conducted, there will be no results for 2025 or beyond.
Continuation of Fellowships – Existing KVPY fellows will continue to receive their fellowships as per the DST norms.
INSPIRE as an Alternative – Students interested in science and research careers can now apply for the INSPIRE fellowship, which supports students at different educational levels.
No Aptitude Test for INSPIRE – Unlike KVPY, INSPIRE does not require an additional test. Eligibility is based on academic performance in board exams and national-level competitive exams.
