Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test or TANCET is a common entrance test led by Anna University, Chennai for admission to MTech/MArch/MPlan/ME, MBA and MCA developers offered by different colleges in Tamil Nadu affiliated to the University.
TANCET Reservations (Indian + NRI) 2022
NRIs students can also take the TANCET, they must have Indian domicile to appearing in the TANCET exam.
The TANCET reservation criteria shall give candidates certain benefits.
A total of 69% seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST) /Special Central Assistance (SCA) candidates, while the rest 31% will be for open category students.

TANCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
TANCET conduct for admission in postgraduate projects in the field of management, architecture, engineering and computer science. Minimum qualification is required four year of bachelor education from significant universities.
Minimum marks required in graduation level is 50%. Candidate having a degree from distance/weekend programs are not eligible for TANCET Exam.

TANCET Exam Pattern 2022
TANCET Exam will be offline as a pen and paper-based test.
There will be 100 Multiple Choice Paper with four choices for each question.
Each question conveys one mark and ⅓ mark will be deducted as a penalty for each incorrect answer. The test will be led in English and Tamil language only.
Total time allocated for each paper will be 120 minutes
Question paper of TANCET 2022 for MBA and MCA program will comprise of five and four-section respectively.
There will be 20 questions in each part for the MBA program and 25 questions in each section for the MCA program
ME/M.Tech and M. Arch paper will comprise of three sections in which two sections will be common and the third section will be optional.
The total number of questions in M.E/M.Tech/M. Arch and M. Plan will be 105.
In M.E/M.Tech/M.Arch and M. Plan entrance test the applicants will be permitted to pick the optional paper for the third section at the time of enrollment.
TANCET Syllabus 2022

Business Situation Analysis |
In this section, there are no prescribed points. The question will be based on business operations, circumstances, dilemma, and business morals and so on There will likewise be a few sections of the marketing plan and one-year methodology of a business. Applicants are needed to check the most suitable answer as per the question. |
Reading Comprehension |
Reading comprehension will include questions based on precise writing and unseen passages. It will also include synonyms, antonyms, vocabulary and one word substitution. |
Quantitative Ability |
In this section, the questions will be based on mathematics. The level of the question will be similar to class 10 and 12 prospectuses of mathematics. Importance topics are profit and loss, percentage, time and work, Average, Simple and Compound Interest, Binomial Theorem, Quadratic Equation, Mixture and Allegations and so forth |
Data Sufficiency |
Data Sufficiency will include topics like number system, algebra and some arithmetic problems. There will be questions from Data Interpretation like bar graph, line graph, and pie chart |
English Usage |
This will include the questions of grammar and punctuation, one-word substitution, conventional usage of word and phrase, writings of speech community etc. |

TANCET MCA Syllabus 2022
Quantitative Ability |
The quantitative ability section will be covering the topic similar to the question paper of the MBA program. Students are required to study the mathematics of class 10 and 12 levels. Some important topics are average, percentage, profit and loss etc. |
Logical and Analytical Reasoning |
In this section, there will be questions based on linear and circular arrangements, selections, coding and decoding, directions, critical thinking, Intuitions, blood relations, decision making, inductive reasoning, binary logic, syllogism and puzzles. |
Computer Awareness |
This section will test the basic awareness and information in the field of computer and technology. The questions will cover the topics like the use of applications in computer, hardware and software, artificial intelligence, generations of computer, data security, short cut keys and computer accessories, components of computers, other computing devices etc. |
TANCET M. E and M. Tech Syllabus 2022
M. E and M. Tech prospectus will be based on the particular program chose by the candidate. There will be two common papers in all the programs and one optional paper marked by the applicant at the time of registration.
The questions will be based on the syllabus of the qualifying examinations programs. There will be 20 questions each from paper 1 and paper 2.
The optional paper for example paper 3 will contain 60 questions. Each question will convey one marks. The prospectus for the initial two sections is discussed below:

TANCET Application Process 2022
The application form is accessible online on the official site of TANCET. Applicants should check the qualification standards and reservation policy prior to submitting the application.
The application charge is 600.00 INR for general candidate and 300.00 INR for applicants who come under reserved category.
Students showing up for more than one program are needed to pay 600.00 INR for each program. The reservation criteria aren’t applicable for the candidate from different states.

TANCET 2022 Application Form
After enrollment, a user id/registration number will be created and sent on the enrolled email address. The candidate is needed to sign in with the login credentials. The steps to fill the application form are as per the following:
- Visit the authority site
- Login using the login id and password
- Fill all the individual details and academic details.
- Select the centre for the entrance exam.
- Upload scanned copy of recent passport size photo and signature
- Complete the payment through online mode, for example, charge/ Master cards, net banking, e-wallet and so on
- Preview the application form and ensure that all the details are correct

TANCET Admit Card 2022
TANCET Exam admits card most probably released IN March. Candidates can download the admit card from the official website by entering the user id and password.
Admit cards will contain the information regarding the centre and schedule of examination.
If any candidate is unable to download the admit card or finds any discrepancy then it shall be reported immediately to the authority.
TANCET Results 2022
The result of TANCET MBA Exam mostly announced on or before 16 April. TANCET MBA result accessible in the form of a scorecard.
Candidate can download the scorecard from the official site by entering their login details made at the time of registration.
Candidate should hold the scorecard of TANCET MBA 2022 till the admission process gets over. Candidate can issue copy mark sheet by paying a charge of Rs. 100 as Demand Draft (DD).
TANCET Admission 2022
Students those score the marks above or equivalent to the passing cut-off marks will be called for the counselling.
Applicants can get admission in the offered courses after finishing admission related formalities.
After the seat allocation process, the candidate can report to college/institutions on due date and time. Candidate should need to present the original documents to the allocated college with the submission of the admission charge.
