Goa Common Entrance Test is conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Goa for admission to professional degree courses in Medical, Dental, Engineering, Pharmacy and Homeopathy. Goa has 1230 engineering seats including 300 management seats and 62 seats under AICTE Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme.
Counseling will be held in two rounds. The first round will be from June 16 to 21, 2014 and the second round from July 21 to 23, 2014. Candidate will have to apply using From ‘B’ for counseling.
Candidate can choose their choice of seats depending on their merit rank. Candidates can choose their choice of seats depending on their merit rank. At the end of the admission process in each round, vacant seats of the reserved categories will be transferred to the general category.
Identical photograph affixed on the Application Form of GCET 2014, Date of Birth certificate, HSSC Passing Certificate/Marks Statement, School/ College leaving certificate, Residence Certificate, Certificate for claiming reservation, Documents for relaxation in the period of residence (if applicable), Acknowledgement card of GCET 2014 with photograph, Candidate Copy of GCET Admit Card 2014, Income Certificate and Eligibility Certificate from Goa University (for applicants other than from Goa Board).
Admission Fees of Rs. 900 must be paid in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of "Director of Technical Education" payable at Panaji on any nationalized or scheduled bank. Reservation will be done in line with the existing government rules.
