DASA 2026 cutoffs should be interpreted using JEE Main All India CRL rank, not old SAT Subject Test scores. Opening and closing ranks depend on the counselling round, institute, programme, DASA category, CIWG status where applicable and seat availability.

Do not use one cutoff number as a guarantee of admission. A better approach is to create three groups of choices:
Choice filling should also consider branch preference, institute reputation, fees, location, course restrictions and whether the student is eligible for CIWG.
CIWG is available for eligible NRI candidates whose parent meets the required employment conditions in the specified Gulf countries.
Students should not assume that studying in a Gulf country automatically creates CIWG eligibility. The qualifying parent employment condition and supporting documents are essential.
