The 15% figure is meaningful only when the college's rules specify the seat base to which it applies. These are mathematical illustrations, not verified college-wise allocations.

Eligibility is more detailed than having an Indian passport or living overseas. The relevant rule may involve the student's own NRI status, an NRI parent, an eligible qualifying relative or a genuine legal-guardian arrangement. NEET and academic eligibility must be met separately.

No single NEET score guarantees an NRI seat across India. Parents must distinguish the NEET qualifying cutoff from the college-wise admission closing rank.

Not through a universal nationwide 15% government-college NRI quota. Certain state-specific arrangements are different. Andhra Pradesh, for example, has notified an NRI-category route in selected new government medical colleges. That does not mean every government college has equivalent NRI seats.
Likewise, parents should not assume that the MCC 15% deemed-university NRI allocation applies to AIIMS. The relevant institute's notified seat categories govern admission.
