NIT Mizoram Fees For NRI Quota (DASA & CIWG)
DASA (Direct Admission of Students Abroad) applicants who wish to take admission in National Institute of Technology (NIT) Mizoram, which include candidates falling under NRI, OCI, PIO, Foreign National, and CIWG categories, will have to make the payment of DASA Registration Fee, Tuition Fee, and all other institute fee as per the latest DASA Admission Policy. Candidates taking admission through JoSAA / CSAB Counselling will make the fee payment as per the fee structure of NIT Mizoram.

One of the most popular engineering undergraduate programs at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Mizoram is the B.Tech course. Admissions for Indian students happen through JEE Main followed by JoSAA/CSAB counseling, whereas admissions for the following categories happen via the DASA scheme depending upon the JEE Main rank of the applicant: NRI/OCI/PIO, foreign nationals, and CIWG students. The respective fee will vary depending upon the admission category and the current DASA admission procedure.

DASA-2026 will be coordinated by one of the NITs (as officially stated on the DASA portal). The conducting NIT for 2026 is yet to be confirmed, and the official DASA Brochure 2026 will be released shortly after the announcement. Admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate programs under the DASA scheme for 2026 will be based on JEE Main Score 2026, including for NRI students living in the USA and Middle East applying under CIWG/DASA quota.
Through the DASA scheme, students belonging to NRI, OCI, PIO, and Foreign Nationals can get direct admission to the B.Tech courses in NIT Mizoram as per their ranks obtained in JEE Main examination. The admission will be based on the eligibility, DASA counselling procedure, choice of branch, and seat availability of the students.
Students who have been admitted through the DASA scheme have to make payment for DASA registration fees, first semester tuition fees, and other institute charges as per the recent DASA admission criteria. The ultimate allotment of the seat will be made as per the rank of the students in JEE Main, DASA category, choice of branch, and seat availability at NIT Mizoram.
