CIWG candidates with eligible parents working in Gulf countries may receive a lower tuition fee structure. Candidates taking admission as per the scheme of DASA (Direct Admission of Students Abroad), which includes NRI, OCI, PIO, Foreign National, and CIWG category candidates, shall pay the corresponding DASA registration fee, tuition fee, and other institute fees as per the latest DASA admission norms. Candidates taking admission as per the counseling done by JoSAA/CSAB shall pay the institute fees as per NIT Meghalaya.

One of NIT Meghalaya’s most popular undergraduate engineering programs is the B.Tech program. While NRI, OCI, PIO, foreign national, and CIWG candidates are enrolled through the DASA (Direct Admission of Students Abroad) scheme based on their JEE Main rank, Indian students are admitted through JEE Main and then JoSAA/CSAB counseling. The candidate’s admission category and the most recent DASA standards determine the applicable fee.
