The DASA Enrolment Fee includes a one-time non-refundable US$300 registration fee plus first-semester tuition.

An NRI family should think of IIIT fees in two stages.
The candidate pays the DASA Enrolment Fee before choice filling and seat allocation.

If a double-tag candidate is finally admitted under CIWG, the applicable excess tuition amount is refunded according to DASA rules.
Two IIITs may follow the same DASA route but still charge different tuition, hostel and institute fees.

IIIT Allahabad provides a useful example of how tuition and other fees are separated.
For the 2026–27 B.Tech batch, its official fee structure lists ₹62,500 per semester as tuition for DASA-CIWG candidates.

ABV-IIITM Gwalior is another participating institution that publishes a separate DASA fee structure.
For new 2026 admissions, the official institute document lists:

Published CIWG tuition:

Both students entered through the broader DASA-CIWG framework, but their institute tuition is different.
