One of the top government engineering institutes in India, Delhi Technological University (DTU) offers B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, B.Des, and Ph.D. programs. DTU does not accept B.Tech students via the DASA program, in contrast to NITs. Subject to the university’s admissions regulations, qualified NRI, OCI, PIO, and foreign national candidates may instead apply under the JAC Delhi NRI/Foreign National entrance category. In contrast to the standard JAC Delhi charge, DTU has an institute-specific NRI price structure.
| Category | Admission Route | Fee Planning |
| Regular Indian Category | JEE Main, JAC Delhi Counselling | Regular students’ tuition, allowed by the institute, plus any additional university fees |
| NRI Category | JAC Delhi NRI Admissions | NRI tuition fee particular to the institute, as announced by DTU during the academic year |
| OCI / PIO Category | JAC Delhi NRI Admissions | Fee in accordance with DTU’s NRI/foreign national entrance regulations |
| Foreign National | DTU International / NRI Admissions | The university’s approved fee schedule for international students |
The JAC Delhi NRI/Foreign National category is mostly used for NRI families living in the USA, Canada, the UK, Australia, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, and other nations. Before applying, candidates should carefully check the most recent NRI eligibility requirements, fee schedule, and admission procedures because DTU is not a DASA-participating institution for B.Tech admissions.
