For CIWG quota, an applicant must provide valid proof that either parent is employed in a Gulf/Middle East country (UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq). This applies to all eligible NRI students, including those residing in the USA, as long as the parent is employed in one of the approved Gulf nations.
Below are the required documents for CIWG admission under the DASA scheme:
Mandatory CIWG Documents (Proof of Gulf Employment):
• Copy of the Passport of the parent employed in a Gulf/Middle East country
• Copy of Parent’s valid Gulf Visa
• Copy of Parent’s Work Permit / Iqama (if applicable)
• Employment Certificate issued by the parent’s organization confirming current employment in a Gulf/Middle East country, as per Appendix III of the official DASA UG brochure
Any revised tuition fee instructions issued by the competent authority will also apply to CIWG admissions. Fee updates must be checked from the official DASA seat matrix, brochure, or latest notification.
Exclusive CIWG Option:
If a CIWG-eligible student chooses not to apply for the DASA-General seat pool, they will only be shown CIWG seats during choice filling.
Refund Adjustment:
If final seat allotment is under CIWG category, the fee difference between CIWG and DASA-General will be refunded as per counselling rules.

Q1. Will the DASA Scheme be available in 2025–26?
