IIT’s Cut-Off Round Wise

A candidate who clears the JEE Advanced exam can register for the JoSAA counseling process for admission to IITs. A candidate who has cleared only the JEE Main exam can also apply for counseling. But in such a case, that candidate is given admission in NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs colleges, not in IITs.

The JoSAA counseling process is conducted in 6 rounds and each round has a different opening and closing rank. Candidates securing minimum rank are given admission in top IITs (for JEE Advanced), IIITs, NITs, and GFTIs as per Cutoff.

The cut-off marks are defined based on several factors such as the number of seats available, the number of applicants who have applied, exam difficulty level, college ranking, and the cut-off of the previous year, the candidate's category, etc.
