This year marked a significant transition toward digital testing:

12 other subjects offered hybrid formats, where students completed the multiple-choice section digitally and wrote the free-response section on paper.

Subjects that adopted the full digital format include AP Psychology, AP English Language, AP U.S. Government, and more.
π Stronger Security & Improved Scoring
The College Board has enhanced its digital infrastructure to improve scoring reliability and prevent malpractice. Advanced data analytics are now being used to ensure fair assessment across all digital exams.
Additionally, AP participation has increased by 7% compared to last year, with growing interest in courses like:
-
AP Precalculus
-
AP Seminar
-
AP U.S. Government
-
AP Biology
β οΈ Technical Glitch: AP Psychology
On May 16, a number of students reported login issues during the AP Psychology exam. To address this, the College Board arranged free make-up testing for those affected. The issue has since been resolved, and further steps are being taken to prevent future interruptions.
