Yes, Concepts of Physics helps NEET students who need clearer concepts and cleaner numericals. Part 1 sits with most Class 11 topics. Part 2 sits with most Class 12 topics. It does not replace NCERT, previous-year papers or a timed mock.
Do not solve every advanced problem. Do not hunt a free scanned PDF. Buy the original paperbacks, or use a licensed sample, then pick the questions a teacher marks for this year’s syllabus.
The blog slug still says PDF because that is how families searched. TestprepKart will not scan, mirror or deep-link a pirated copy. Use an original Part 1 and Part 2, the official NCERT textbooks, and TestprepKart’s own notes and past papers.
A US Grade 11 student usually starts Part 1 after the matching NCERT chapter. A Grade 12 or drop-year student still needs leftover Part 1 mechanics before living in Part 2. Status and admission rules sit on the NRI eligibility page. This page is only the Physics book.
Part 1 · Class 11 lean
Chapters 1 to 22. Kinematics through gravitation, SHM, fluids, sound, and geometrical optics. Use it when the school week is still on Class 11 language.

Part 2 · Class 12 lean
Chapters 23 to 47. Heat and kinetic theory, electrostatics, current, magnetism, EMI, AC, photoelectric effect, Bohr, semiconductors and the nucleus. Skip relativity unless a teacher asks.

Ch 1-2. Introduction, and the maths the later numericals assume.
Ch 3-11. Rest and motion, forces, friction, circular motion, work and energy, centre of mass, rotation, gravitation.
Ch 12-14. Simple harmonic motion, fluid mechanics, mechanical properties of matter.
Ch 15-16. Waves on a string, and sound.
Ch 17-22. Light waves, geometrical optics, instruments, spectra, speed of light, photometry. Ask which optics rows still sit on the current NEET list.
Ch 23-28. Temperature, kinetic theory, calorimetry, thermodynamics, specific heats, heat transfer.
Ch 29-33. Field and potential, Gauss, capacitors, current in conductors, thermal and chemical effects.
Ch 34-40. Magnetic field, current, permanent magnets, materials, induction, AC, electromagnetic waves.
Ch 41-46. Current through gases, photoelectric effect, Bohr, X-rays, semiconductors, the nucleus. These need NCERT wording first.
Ch 47, special relativity, unless a teacher puts a short note on the week plan.
Use it for papers and counselling steps. It is not Concepts of Physics, and it is not a substitute for NCERT.
The exam does not copy H.C. Verma line by line. The book is useful because it shows why a formula works before the clock starts.
Explanations start from the idea. That helps a student who can recite a formula and still pick the wrong setup.
Cover the solution. Write your own steps. Then compare. That habit transfers to NEET numericals.
A teacher can mark easy, medium and long questions. You do not have to finish the hard tail.
Useful when NCERT theory already looks clear, but a three-mark numerical still falls apart.
A US school week already eats the evening. This order keeps the book from becoming a second syllabus.
NCERT is the exam’s language. H.C. Verma is extra practice after that language is in place.

Irodov is usually too long for a NEET week. D.C. Pandey can sit as the objective bank if a teacher prefers it to HCV exercises. Do not finish both books. Biology extra titles stay behind NCERT.

Strong AP Biology and AP Chemistry. Early NEET mocks sat around 380 to 420. He was slow, guessed into negative marking, and missed NCERT corners such as semiconductors. The plan shifted to syllabus gaps, timed practice and a written error log. He later took a private NRI seat in Maharashtra. The lesson: a concept book helps, but NEET questions and the clock still have to be trained.
First attempt 312 after a mix of unrelated videos. He stayed on chapters he liked and sat almost no timed paper. The drop year ran the full syllabus in order, weekly tests and monthly full mocks. Second attempt 541, 229 marks higher. The lesson: sequence beats a larger book pile.
