Hi, I’m TestprepKart.
Your Partner In Exam Preparation
These six URLs arrived in one folder labelled Karnataka private colleges. I opened the campuses before I opened a fee PDF. Four of them are Karnataka Examinations Authority Category C: Adichunchanagiri (Bellur / B.G. Nagara), Kempegowda Institute in Bengaluru, MVJ in Hoskote, and Vydehi in Whitefield. The other two are not Karnataka at all. Meenakshi Medical College sits in Enathur, Kanchipuram, and reports to MCC deemed counselling. NRI Medical College sits in Chinakakani, Guntur, and reports to Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences Category C.
The first thing a TestprepKart counsellor says on this list is: do not put a KEA login on a Kanchipuram deemed name, and do not treat a Guntur “NRI Medical College” as a Bengaluru campus because the college title starts with NRI.
Last checked: 11 September 2026. Karnataka seats and rupee fees below are last published on our Karnataka state map (2025-26 Category C planning figures). They are not a 2027 KEA seat matrix and not a 2027 Fee Fixation Committee order. If the live kea.kar.nic.in notice moved a number, the notice wins.
What this page is, and what it is not
This page is the cleanup for the six clone blogs in that cluster. I wrote the Karnataka four the way I would walk a USA parent through a KEA Category C shortlist, and I wrote the two strays so they cannot hide inside a Karnataka title.
It does not list every private college in Karnataka. It does not walk KMC Manipal or JSS Mysuru (those are MCC deemed). It does not walk reporting after allotment. For the full Karnataka map (government door closed, Category C vs Q-quota, deemed list), use the Karnataka NRI quota seats and fees page. That sibling is the state file. This URL is the six-name cleanup.
The four Karnataka names, last published
On these four, the labelled NRI door is KEA Category C. It is not MCC deemed. It is not Q-quota (Q-quota is a different KEA row with a different paper set and a lower last-published band). Fifteen percent is a planning rule of thumb, not a substitute for the live matrix. Two of these four already miss that thumb on the last published map.
| Campus I mean | Where it actually sits | Last published intake | Last published Category C seats | Last published Category C tuition / year |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences | Bellur / B.G. Nagara, Mandya | 150 | 23 (old blog wrote 15) | ₹32,15,750 |
| Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences | Banashankari belt, Bengaluru | 250 on the state map (old blog wrote 150) | 12 (old blog wrote 15) | ₹42,12,700 |
| MVJ Medical College and Research Hospital | Hoskote, Bengaluru rural | 150 | 22 (old blog wrote 15) | ₹40,12,700 |
| Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences | Whitefield, Bengaluru | 250 | 37 (old blog wrote 38) | ₹45,12,700 |
Hostel, mess and caution sat around ₹80,000 to ₹1.5 lakh a year on that same last published map. The old blogs wrote ₹1.5 lakh to ₹3 lakh hostel bands and reused them. I ask the allotted college. I do not wire from a copied hostel line.
Category C is not the other KEA NRI-looking row
KEA will also show Q-quota on the same login. Q-quota is open to Indian applicants at a committee fee. Last published Q-quota bands on the state page sat around ₹25 lakh to ₹35 lakh. Category C needs the sponsor / OCI file the current KEA notice names. I do not let a family pay Q-quota papers and call it the NRI seat, or the other way around. Status rules sit on the NRI eligibility page.
What I would actually say about each Karnataka campus
Adichunchanagiri: Mandya district, not a Bengaluru walk-in
Parents who booked a Whitefield hotel still treat B.G. Nagara as “the Bengaluru college.” It is Bellur / B.G. Nagara in Mandya district. Last published: 150 intake, 23 Category C seats, ₹32,15,750 a year. That is the lowest last-published Category C stamp on these four. The old AIMS blog took 15 percent of 150, wrote 15 NRI seats (15 percent of 150 is about 23), and billed ₹30-32 lakh. I plan on 23 and ₹32,15,750 until the live KEA matrix and Fee Fixation Committee PDF move. I also check that this name is still on the KEA private list and not sitting only on an MCC deemed list that year. The old page affiliated it to RGUHS and stopped there.
Kempegowda: say Banashankari, or you may have Hubballi
KIMS is the acronym that burns a choice list. This page’s KIMS is Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Bengaluru, the private KEA campus. Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, Hubballi, is a government college with no NRI row. KIMS Bhubaneswar is another state. Last published on our Karnataka map: 250 intake, only 12 Category C seats, ₹42,12,700. Twelve seats on a 250 intake is not 15 percent. That is the number I read out so the family stops using a calculator. The old KIMS blog used the same 150 / 15 / ₹10-11 lakh / ₹30-35 lakh skeleton as Adichunchanagiri and only changed the city. I throw that skeleton out.
MVJ Hoskote: east of the city, not Vydehi’s gate
MVJ sits on the Hoskote side of Bengaluru rural. The old blog wrote “Hoskote-Whitefield Road,” and that is where families glue it to Vydehi. They are not the same campus and they are not the same last-published row. MVJ last published 150 intake, 22 Category C seats, ₹40,12,700. The old MVJ page wrote 15 NRI seats and a ₹38-45 lakh NRI band. Twenty-two seats matches 15 percent of 150 better than 15 does. I use 22 and ₹40,12,700 until the live PDF moves. A USA family that wants Whitefield clinical load still has to type Vydehi, not MVJ.
Vydehi Whitefield: largest Category C row on this four, top of the fee band
If the call is “we want the Whitefield hospital and we can pay the top private band,” Vydehi is the name I keep on the Karnataka sheet. Last published: 250 intake, 37 Category C seats, ₹45,12,700. That fee sits with Ramaiah and Sapthagiri at the top of the last published Category C band on the state page. The old Vydehi blog wrote 38 seats (plain 15 percent of 250) and ₹40-45 lakh. I do not round 37 up to 38 from a template. Hostel on that old page was ₹2.5-3 lakh. I still use the last published extras band of about ₹80,000-₹1.5 lakh and ask Vydehi for the current slip after allotment.

Papers and counselling order only. It will not move Meenakshi onto a KEA list.
The two names that are not Karnataka
Meenakshi: Enathur, Kanchipuram, MCC deemed
Meenakshi Medical College Hospital and Research Institute is a MAHER deemed campus in Enathur, near Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu. It does not take a KEA Category C choice. The login is MCC deemed. Last published intake on the old campus blog was 250, with about 38 NRI seats (15 percent maths). That blog billed NRI tuition at USD $50,000 a year and management at ₹23 lakh. Our Tamil Nadu state page groups Meenakshi with Chettinad / ACS / Sree Balaji in a last published named band from about ₹40 lakh to about ₹1.8 crore for the course. I do not convert $50,000 on a phone app and call it the 2027 demand. I open the live MCC / college notice. The full Tamil Nadu split is on the Tamil Nadu NRI quota page.
NRI Medical College: Chinakakani, Guntur, not a Karnataka brand
The college is literally named NRI Medical College. That is why it landed in a Karnataka folder. It is NRI Academy of Sciences, Chinakakani, Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh. The door is Dr. YSRUHS Category C, not KEA. Last published on our Andhra page: 200 intake, 30 NRI seats, ₹39.60 lakh a year. The old blog also printed Convenor about ₹15,000 and Category B about ₹13.20 lakh. Those are different cheques and a different paper set. Do not mix this campus with Guntur Medical College, which is a government flagship with no NRI row. The Andhra map is on the Andhra Pradesh NRI quota page.
What the six old blogs shared that I will not reuse
| What the clone did | What I do on the phone |
|---|---|
| One 150-seat / 15 NRI / KEA skeleton for AIMS, KIMS and MVJ | I use the last published matrix: 23 / 12 / 22 Category C, and 250 intake at KIMS. |
| KIMS Banashankari written as if every KIMS is this campus | I say Bengaluru private. I take Hubballi and Bhubaneswar off the sheet. |
| MVJ glued to Whitefield | I say Hoskote. Whitefield Category C on this list is Vydehi. |
| Vydehi 38 seats from a 15 percent calculator | I keep 37 and ₹45,12,700 from the last published map. |
| Meenakshi filed as Karnataka private | I open MCC deemed, Kanchipuram, not kea.kar.nic.in. |
| NRI Medical College filed as Karnataka because of the name | I open Chinakakani / YSRUHS. I do not open KEA. |

If you still want the rest of Karnataka
Leave the two stray names and open the Karnataka NRI quota page. Government colleges there have no NRI row. Deemed names use MCC. A national fee map sits on the NRI college fees page.
National NEET age (17 by 31 December 2027 unless NTA restates it), PCB, and a qualifying score still apply. I am not turning that into a second eligibility essay. Passport, Class 12 mark sheet, and the sponsor affidavit the live notice names still have to be in the folder.
NEET Preparation Options
Category C still needs a NEET score. Hours below are teaching hours. Confirm the live price on the course grid.
NEET Achievers
These tiles are NEET results from students who sat the exam from abroad. They are not proof that KEA allotted Category C at any of these four, or that MCC allotted Meenakshi.

Closest siblings, and why this URL exists
Questions I actually get on this cluster
No. Adichunchanagiri, Kempegowda, MVJ and Vydehi are KEA Category C in Karnataka. Meenakshi is a Tamil Nadu deemed campus on MCC. NRI Medical College is an Andhra private campus in Chinakakani.
They were one template: 150 seats, 15 NRI seats, KEA, ₹10-11 lakh management, a ₹30-something NRI band. The last published map already disagrees on seats and rupees. I do not republish the template.
If you did not type Kempegowda and Bengaluru, you may have government KIMS Hubballi or KIMS in another state. This page’s KIMS last published 12 Category C seats at ₹42,12,700 on a 250 intake. Hubballi has no NRI row.
No. Both appear on the KEA login. Q-quota is not the NRI row. Category C needs the sponsor or OCI file the live notice names and last published higher than Q-quota on the state page.
No. Meenakshi in Enathur is MCC deemed. A KEA Category C list will not allot Kanchipuram. Use the Tamil Nadu NRI page and the live MCC matrix.
No. It is NRI Academy, Chinakakani, Guntur. Last published 30 Category C seats at ₹39.60 lakh through Dr. YSRUHS. The name is the trap. Guntur Medical College is a different, government campus with no NRI row.
If you want a TestprepKart counsellor to mark a live KEA, MCC or YSRUHS PDF against these six names, send the inquiry with the admission year and the city you actually mean (Mandya, Banashankari, Hoskote, Whitefield, Kanchipuram, or Chinakakani).
