Hi, I’m TestprepKart.
Your Partner In Exam Preparation
If you searched Apollo, Mamata, Bhaskar, Prathima, Mediciti, VRK, MNR or Kamineni and expected a dollar fee plus an MCC login, close that tab. Those eight old campus blogs were copies of each other. The first thing a TestprepKart counsellor tells a USA parent who names one of these eight is: you are on KNRUHS Category C in rupees, and the live Telangana PDF is the only invoice.
This is not a profile of “a reputed private college in Telangana.” It is the working file for the eight names that used to have their own thin pages. I wrote it the way I would walk a family through those eight on a call, including where two campuses share a brand and where the old blog invented a deemed-university door.
Last checked: 11 September 2026. Every seat and fee figure below is last published. It is not a 2027 KNRUHS seat matrix or a 2027 TAFRC fee order. If the live notice moved a number, the notice wins.
What this page is for, and what it is not
Use this page when you are choosing among these eight private campuses and need Category C seats, last-published tuition, and the traps that sat on the old blogs.
It does not cover Telangana government colleges (they have no NRI row). It does not list every private college in the state. It does not walk reporting after allotment. It does not replace MCC deemed counselling. For the full private Category C roster, including campuses that never had a clone blog, use the Telangana NRI quota seats and fees page. That sibling is the state map. This URL is the eight-name cleanup.
The three mistakes I hear on these eight names
Dollar fee. Five of the old pages billed NRI tuition as $40,000 to $60,000. That is how some MCC deemed campuses quote. These eight are Telangana private colleges. Last published Category C on this list sat in ₹23.10 lakh to ₹26 lakh a year, before hostel.
MCC login. Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Hyderabad, is the one families mix with a deemed Apollo. Category C here is filled by Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, not MCC deemed counselling. NEET is still required. That one national rule does not change the portal.
Twin names. Kamineni, Mamata and Prathima each have a second campus that is not the college on this list. If you copy the wrong city into a choice list, you have not applied to the college you thought you applied to.
Last-published file I keep next to the phone
Category C is usually about 15% of a private intake. I do not treat that percentage as a substitute for the live matrix. Where an old campus page and the last published state map disagreed, I show both and tell the family which one I plan on until the PDF updates.
| Campus I mean | Where it actually sits | Last published intake | Last published Category C seats | Last published Category C tuition / year |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences and Research | Hyderabad | 150 | 23 | ₹26.00 lakh |
| Mediciti Institute of Medical Sciences | Medchal | 150 | 23 | ₹24.00 lakh |
| Bhaskar Medical College | Moinabad, Ranga Reddy | 150 | 23 | ₹23.10 lakh |
| Dr. VRK Women’s Medical College | Aziznagar, Ranga Reddy | 150, women only | 15 on the state map (old page wrote 23) | ₹24.00 lakh |
| MNR Medical College and Hospital | Sangareddy | 200 | 23 on the state map (15% of 200 is 30; old page used 30) | ₹26.00 lakh on the map (old page wrote ₹30-35 lakh) |
| Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences | Narketpally, Nalgonda | 200 | 30 | ₹26.00 lakh |
| Prathima Institute of Medical Sciences | Karimnagar | Older notes said 200; 38 NRI seats fit a larger campus | 38 | ₹24.00 lakh |
| Mamata Medical College | Khammam | 250 | 30 | ₹24.00 lakh |
Hostel, mess and the KNRUHS university fee sit outside that tuition line. Category A / B / C shares (about 50 / 35 / 15) are the same Telangana private split used on the state page. I am not restating that split here as if it were unique to Apollo or unique to Khammam.

Papers and counselling order only. It will not tell you whether Narketpally or LB Nagar is the Kamineni you meant.
What I would actually say about each of the eight
Apollo Hyderabad: do not open the deemed portal
The call usually starts with “Apollo is deemed, right?” For Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Hyderabad, no. The old blog put it on MCC deemed counselling and quoted $50,000-$60,000. That is the wrong door. Last published Category C here was 23 seats on a 150 intake at ₹26 lakh a year. I put this name on a KNRUHS Category C list. I do not put it on an MCC deemed list. The site the old page named was apolloimsr.edu.in. Status papers still have to match the Telangana prospectus. The NRI eligibility page is for that file, not for a deemed registration.
Mediciti: Medchal, not a Jubilee Hills walk-in
Parents who stay with relatives in central Hyderabad still treat Mediciti as “the Hyderabad college.” It is a Medchal campus. Last published: 150 intake, 23 Category C, ₹24 lakh. The old Mediciti article reused Bhaskar and Prathima’s 160-220 mark cutoff and the same $40,000-$50,000 line. I do not let a family plan a score band from that clone. Wait for live Category C movement. Site named on the old page: mims.edu.in.
Bhaskar, Moinabad: cheapest Category C on this list, still Category C
When a family says they can pay Category C but not the top Hyderabad stamp, Moinabad is the name I mention first on these eight. Last published tuition here was ₹23.10 lakh a year, with 23 Category C seats on a 150 intake. That is still not a government bill. The old page’s ₹1.5-2 lakh hostel-and-mess line was the same sentence used on the other short clones. Ask Bhaskar for the current hostel demand after allotment. Site named on the old page: bhaskarmedicalcollege.edu.in.
VRK Aziznagar: ask the gender question before you open the fee PDF
Dr. VRK Women’s Medical College admits only female MBBS students. If the child is a boy, this row is closed and I do not spend the call on its fee. Intake last published as 150. The old VRK article multiplied 15% and wrote 23 Category C seats. The last published state map wrote 15 NRI seats and ₹24 lakh. I plan on 15 until the live KNRUHS matrix prints a different count. Category B on that old page sat around ₹13.20-14 lakh. That is a different cheque and a different paper set, not a cheaper NRI seat.
MNR Sangareddy: two seat counts and two fee lines
Sangareddy is not Hyderabad city. Last published intake is 200. Fifteen percent of 200 is 30. The last published state map listed 23 NRI seats and ₹26 lakh Category C. The old MNR page listed 30 seats and ₹30-35 lakh. I do not let a parent wire ₹35 lakh because a blog said 35. I write both notes on the choice sheet and replace them when the live matrix and TAFRC PDF are out. Until then I budget from the ₹26 lakh last-published stamp, plus extras.
Kamineni: say Narketpally, or you may have picked LB Nagar
This page’s Kamineni is Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences, Narketpally, Nalgonda. Kamineni Academy of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad is a different last-published row (23 NRI seats, ₹26 lakh on the state map). Last published here: 200 intake, 30 Category C, ₹26 lakh. Thirty seats matches 15% of 200. The old Narketpally article reused MNR’s ₹30-35 lakh Category C paragraph. I treat that as template leftover, not as a demand draft.
Prathima Karimnagar: the fat NRI row, not Hanamkonda Relief
If the family wants the largest last-published Category C count on these eight, it is Prathima Institute of Medical Sciences, Karimnagar: 38 seats at ₹24 lakh. Prathima Relief Institute of Medical Sciences, Hanamkonda, is not this college. The old blog wrote 200 intake and about 20 NRI seats. A 38-seat Category C row does not sit cleanly on a 200-seat campus (15% of 200 is 30). I flag the intake as unresolved and I do not let anyone “correct” 38 down to 20 from the clone.
Mamata Khammam: not the Hyderabad Academy campus
Mamata Medical College in Khammam last published 250 intake, 30 Category C seats, ₹24 lakh. Mamata Academy of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad is a different 23-seat / ₹24 lakh last-published row on the state map. The old Khammam page used the same $40,000-$50,000 sentence as Bhaskar and wrote 20-25 NRI seats. I use the 30-seat INR figure until the live matrix moves. Site named on the old page: mamatamedicalcollege.com.
Check out a few of the app features below.
Money after the Category C line
A Hyderabad-belt hostel (Apollo) and a Khammam or Karimnagar hostel are not the same demand. Last published add-ons I warn families about, before they treat ₹24 lakh as the year: KNRUHS university fee about ₹12,000-₹15,000 once; hostel about ₹80,000-₹1,50,000; mess about ₹45,000-₹72,000; refundable caution ₹20,000-₹50,000; library and lab about ₹10,000-₹30,000. A Category C year with extras often lands near ₹25 lakh to ₹32 lakh. I still ask the allotted college for the current slip. I do not convert that rupee line into a USD “deemed” quote.
How I would sort these eight tonight
Cross off VRK if the student is male. Write the city next to Kamineni, Mamata and Prathima so the twin campus cannot slip in. Put Bhaskar on the sheet if the family is at the bottom of the ₹23-26 lakh band. Put Prathima Karimnagar on the sheet if they want the 38-seat last-published row and can travel that belt. Apollo stays on KNRUHS only. Then open the live matrix and overwrite every number on this page that moved. TestprepKart will do that PDF check if you send which of the eight names are actually in play.
National NEET age (17 by 31 December 2027 unless NTA restates it), PCB, and a qualifying NEET score still apply. I am not expanding those into a second eligibility essay. Passport, Class 12 mark sheet, and the sponsor affidavit the prospectus names still have to be in the folder.
NEET Preparation Options
Category C still needs a NEET score. Hours below are teaching hours. Confirm the live price on the course grid.
NEET Achievers
These tiles are NEET results from students who sat the exam from abroad. They are not proof that any of these eight campuses allotted a Category C seat.

Closest sibling, and why this URL exists
Questions I actually get on these eight
It copied a deemed-university template onto a Telangana private campus. Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Hyderabad, last published 23 Category C seats at ₹26 lakh through KNRUHS. I do not register that name on MCC deemed counselling.
The old article took 15% of 150 and wrote 23. The last published state map listed 15 NRI seats at VRK Women’s. I plan on 15 until the live KNRUHS matrix prints a new count. The campus is still women-only either way.
If you did not type Narketpally, you may have Kamineni Academy in Hyderabad. That Academy last published 23 NRI seats. This page’s Kamineni is the Nalgonda 200-seat campus with 30 last-published Category C seats. Read the city before you lock the choice.
No. Category B is management. Category C is the NRI row. Last published Category B on these campuses sat far below Category C. Paying B does not convert the seat to C, and C papers will not hold a B allotment.
The live KNRUHS matrix and the live TAFRC / college demand. This table is last published as of 11 September 2026. I keep it so you can see where the old blogs were wrong, not so you can wire from a blog.
The state landing page lists government colleges (no NRI) and the full private Category C roster. This URL exists because eight clone blogs had to come down and those eight names still need a place that states their traps. If you are hunting a college that was never on that clone list, start on the state page.
If you want TestprepKart to mark a live KNRUHS PDF against this eight-name sheet, send the inquiry with the admission year and the exact campus cities (Narketpally vs Hyderabad, Khammam vs Hyderabad, Karimnagar vs Hanamkonda).
