Entrance Examination For Engineering In India

After finishing class 12, many students and parents often find themselves pondering the next steps. The decision of choosing the best path for their child's future can be quite challenging. To get into various fields, such as Engineering, Medicine, and Agriculture, students need to take national, state, or university entrance exams. These careers are highly favored among science students. Each year, thousands of students participate in these exams, either on a national or state level. Among them, Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) is considered as the most coveted as it opens the door of the most prestigious engineering institutes of the country. Engineering offers various disciplines like Civil, IT, CSE, Mechanical, Mining, Automobile, Petroleum, and more.

Entrance Examination For Engineering In India

JEE Mains is for students aiming to study at India's leading engineering colleges, such as NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, and SPAs. If you wish to join IITs, IIST, or ISM Dhanbad, you must take the JEE Advanced exam. To be eligible for JEE Advanced, you first need to clear JEE Mains.

Great news for NRI students! If you're preparing for JEE Mains, it can open doors to admission under the DASA/CIWG Scheme. Here's why: Starting from the 2021-22 session, a JEE Mains score is a must for NRIs/PIOs applying to the DASA/CIWG Scheme. With good JEE Main scores, you can secure admission in NITs and CFIs through the DASA/CIWG Scheme. But remember, a high JEE Mains Rank is essential to get your preferred UG course and college. If your rank is high enough, you'll even qualify for JEE Advanced. After the JEE Advanced results are out, attend counseling and choose your desired streams at the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
