MAHATMA GANDHI INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES

MGIMS offers MBBS. (4½ years followed by compulsory rotating internship training of one year. All the medical cadets with service liability undergo internship training in selected service hospitals recognized by the Medical Council of India.

Academic Programs:

• Undergraduate: MBBS program with an annual intake of 100 students.

• Postgraduate: MD and MS degrees in various specialties.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for the MBBS program at the Mahatma Gamdhi Institute of Medical Sciences (MGIMS), candidate must meet the following criteria:

1. Age Requirement

• Candidate must be at least 17 years old or before December 31 of the admission year. 

2. Educational Qualification

• Must ahve passed the 12th standard (10+2) examination under the Maharastra State Higher Secondary Education Board or an equvalent examination from a recognized board or university.
• The following subject are mandatory, with individual passes required in each:

1. English
2. Physics
3. Chemistry
4. Biology

• Candidate must have appearded for and qualified in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEEt-UG).

3. Minimum Marks:

A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biologytaken together is required.

For candiddate belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/VJ/NT/OBC), a minimum of 40% aggregate marks in the aforementioned subjects is acceptable.
