For NRI students, the NEET cut-off score is the minimum benchmark to qualify for MBBS admissions in India. NTA releases this every year, and candidates must clear it to become eligible for counselling.
Remember, the qualifying cut-off only decides eligibility, while the admission cut-off is usually much higher for NRI quota seats.
| Category | Qualifying Score | Cut-off Score (Marks Range) |
| UR / EWS | 50th Percentile | 686 – 144 |
| OBC | 40th Percentile | 143 – 113 |
| SC | 40th Percentile | 143 – 113 |
| ST | 40th Percentile | 143 – 113 |
| UR/EWS – PwBD | 45th Percentile | 143 – 127 |
| OBC – PwD | 40th Percentile | 126 – 113 |
| SC – PwD | 40th Percentile | 126 – 113 |
| ST – PwD | 40th Percentile | 126 – 113 |
When it comes to actual MBBS admissions, the cut-off for NRI students is higher than the basic qualifying cut-off. The required score depends on the type of college:- government, private, or deemed universities. Below is the expected safe cut-off for 2025:
