Success in NEET requires more than hard work-it requires the right guidance, structured preparation, and continuous performance evaluation. At TestprepKart , we combine expert-led NEET coaching with personalized student analysis sessions to help aspirants strengthen concepts, improve exam strategies, and achieve their medical career goals. From regular assessments and doubt-solving support to one-on-one performance reviews, our holistic approach ensures that every student receives the attention and mentorship needed to excel in NEET and secure admission to top medical colleges.
1. Which state is best for private MBBS in India?
Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Kerala, Punjab, Delhi and Odisha all have established private or deemed medical-college options. For an NRI family, the better question is whether the college has the right NRI category, current fee, counselling route and document rules for your child.
2. Can an NRI student get a general seat in a private medical college in India?
It can be possible, but it depends on the student’s citizenship/status and the rules of the counselling authority. An Indian citizen studying abroad may have access to regular categories as well as NRI options, while OCI or foreign-passport students can face different rules. NEET qualification remains compulsory.
3. Do all private medical colleges in India have an NRI quota?
No. CMC Vellore does not have a separate MBBS NRI quota, and St. John’s Medical College states that it has no NRI/OCI MBBS quota. Colleges such as KMC Manipal, Amrita Kochi, Ramaiah, HIMSR and KIMS have NRI-category routes under their applicable counselling systems.
4. How many seats are reserved for NRI students in private colleges?
There is no single percentage that can safely be applied to every private college. Ramaiah currently states that 15% of its MBBS intake is reserved for NRI/OCI/PIO/Foreign categories, while deemed-university NRI seats should be checked in the current MCC seat matrix. Always use the admission-year seat matrix rather than an old percentage.
5. Which private medical college has the lowest fees in India?
Do not compare private colleges using only a headline tuition figure. CMC Ludhiana’s latest verified 2025 open/minority tuition started at ₹6.60 lakh in the first year, but its NRI quota is governed by a separate Punjab NRI fee. For an NRI family, compare the fee for the exact admission category, not the lowest fee shown for the college.
