NEET 2019 to be conducted by NTA only once in a year and in Pen and Paper mode said HRD Ministry.

Highlights -:

As suggested earlier by MHRD that NEET 2019 will be conducted twice in a year and only in online mode, but after recommendations from Health Ministry it is decided that NEET 2019 will be held once in a year on 5^th May and in Pen and Paper mode (Offline Mode) said by HRD Ministry.

National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the NEET 2019 and as decided earlier by HRD Ministry that NEET 2019 will be conducted twice in a year and in Online mode but the HRD Ministry revert his decision later this week by saying that NEET 2019 will be conducted Once in a year and in offline mode only. There will not be any changes in the NEET Examination said by HRD Officials. This decision came after the recommendations from Health Ministry, not to change the exam procedure of NEET 2019.

Health Ministry said that students who are living in rural areas will not be able to adapt changes that are done by NTA. Health Ministry also focuses on the Logistical concerns and counselling concerns once it will be conducted twice a year.

Prakash Javadekar, HRD Minister announced on 7^th July that NEET 2019 and JEE Main 2019 will held twice a year but contradicting his proposal, Health Ministry sent them a proposal on not to held NEET 2019 twice a year as it will be not fair for rural areas students who will not adapt these changes comfortably.

After the notification released by MHRD about NEET 2019 that it will be conducted once in a year and only in Pen and Paper mode, now MHRD has released a new schedule for NEET 2019 that will be conducting on 5^th May 2019.
