Ans. NRI students can gain admission to NITs in a single way: 1) by taking and passing the JEE Main exam, or 2) by applying through the DASA scheme (admissions on the basis of JEE Main for 2021).
Qus. Is there an NRI quota in NITs?
Ans. NITs have some reserved seats for NRI students under the DASA system, which is not exactly an NRI quota. The DASA quota seats 15% of the institute's total seats. Admission to DASA/CIWG seats will be based on JEE Main examination.

Ans. Gulf quota in engineering colleges in India is a special quota issued by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, under the DASA scheme for the children of gulf employees from countries such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain. Ans. If you got admission through JEE Main, the fee for NRI students in NITs is the same as it is for students in India. However, if you are chosen under the DASA scheme the fee would be consistant than the standard fee. Candidates for the CIWG must pay the same fee as Indian nationals.
