UPCET - Uttar Pradesh Common Entrance Test: 

UPCET is formarlly known as UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination). It is a state level entrance exam. It is conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) for grant admission to Indian and NRI students into various undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses at AKTU (Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University) affiliated colleges in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. AKTU is formarlly known as UPTU (Uttar Pradesh Technical University).

Note: All Indian and NRI students also can take the admissions in AKTU affiliated colleges through JEE Main Scores.

UPCET (UPSEE) 2022 Exam Highlights for Students:

UPCET (UPSEE) 2022 Latest Information for Indian Students:

• UPCET 2022 will be held in online mode on Last week of June 2022. 

• UPCET 2022 Application Form is available from 1st week of April 2022 at upsee.nic.in.

• The application fee is INR 1300 for General category,  INR 650 for SC / ST category and a fee may be 1300+ for NRI students.

• Indian and NRI candidates are required to check UPCET 2022 Eligibility for the courses they wish to apply. For different courses, there are 11 papers

• The examination does not provide for negative marking. The paper is set in English and Hindi medium.

• For different courses the UPCET 2022 Syllabus is different.

UPCET (UPSEE) 2022 Eligibility Criteria for Students:

NTA (National Testing Agency) has set some admission standards for students who wish to appear for the UPCET 2022. 

Different criteria required to be met are described below as to the course-wise:

UPCET (UPSEE) 2022 Application Process for Students:

The UPCET (UPSEE) 2022 online form was made available as of 1st week of April 2022. The directions to apply for the test are set out below:

• UPCET (UPSEE) 2022 applications may only be submitted via online mode. 

• Indian and NRI Candidates can use the official website to fill in the UPCET (UPSEE) 2022 Application Form at upsee.nic.in.

• Indian and NRI Candidates filling out the application form online must also upload scanned signature images, colored photograph and left thumb impression. 

• Indian and NRI Applicants do not need to send the University a hard copy of the completed application form / or any document.

• The correction facility in the application form starts from 1st week of June 2022.

• Indian and NRI candidates should take the printout of "confirmation page" for future record after payment of the application fee.

• Note down the application number printed on the confirmation page for further use.

UPCET (UPSEE) 2022 Application Fee:

Indian and NRI Candidates may send the application fee either through online mode which is debit card / ATM card, online wallet etc. or via offline channels such as through bank mode, by filling in the challan provided by the UPCET (UPSEE) 2022 executive authority after filling out the form (only if you choose offline payment mode).

UPCET (UPSEE) 2022 Admit Card for Indian Students:

UPCET (UPSEE) 2022 Admit Card will be made available online at upsee.nic.in, the official website. From 3rd week of June 2022. So it is advised that all Indian and NRI candidates download the admit card as soon as it is released.

By following the steps below, all Indian and NRI candidates can obtain/ download their UPCET (UPSEE) 2022 Admit Card:

• Go to the official UPCET (UPSEE) 2022 website.

• Tap Admit Card on UPCET (UPSEE) 2022.

• A window appears for login.

• To login and download the admit card, type your UPCET (UPSEE) 2022 application number and password.

• A window will appear which shows the admit card.

• Tap on admit card to open.

• Take one printout of the same after you download the admit card.

UPCET (UPSEE) 2022 Exam Pattern for Indian Students:

All Indian and NRI students should check the exam pattern as the examination pattern provides an overview of the question paper including the number of questions asked at the examination, the subjects covered, negative marking, etc. 

• Exam Mode: UPSEE (UPCET) 2022 will be directed through online mode.

• Type of questions: The question paper will comprise of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

• Duration: The duration for solving question paper will be different according to the courses.

• Marking Scheme: Total 4 marks will be added for each right answers.

• Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking for wrong answer.
