Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test (CGPET) Information

The CG PET 2021 (Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test) is a state-level entrance exam also referred to as Chhattisgarh-PET. The test conductive authority (CPEB)Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board will release the CG -PET 2021 Exam Date.

Indian and NRI Students can take this exam & get admission in reputable engineering colleges in Chhattisgarh. NRI students can take admission in Indian engineering colleges through DASA/CIWG & NRI Quota. 

CG PET 2021 for Students:-

• This test will be conducted for those Indian and NRI candidates seeking admission to engineering, dairy technology, agricultural technology courses offered by various colleges & institutions in Chhattisgarh State. 
• The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB) will be in charge of this. It is also called CG Vyapam.
• DTE Raipur will call on qualified Indian and NRI candidates for CG PET counseling.
• Indian and NRI Students can get admission to various B.E / BTech programs provided by the authority through their JEE Main scores.

CG PET 2021 Eligibility Criteria for Students:-

The eligibility criteria for candidates in CG PET 2021 are as follows:-

Qualifying Examination:-

• Indian and NRI aspirants must have completed 10 + 2 or similar courses as optional subjects with Maths, Physics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Technical vocational courses.
• Indian and NRI aspirants should have studied biology instead of math in their 10 + 2 for BTech Biotechnology.

Pass Percentage:-

• Indian and NRI aspirants in their Class 10 + 2 or equivalent should have earned a total of 45 per cent marks in each of the subjects.
• Reserved category applicants from Chhattisgarh should have received a total of 40% in their Class 10 + 2.
• Grace Marks: Aspirants who pass with grace marks will be considered eligible if they achieve the minimum percentage of passes in each subject. It is important to note that while determining the aggregate percentage for admissions, grace marks are not considered.

Domicile Criteria:-

• All aspirants, Indian and NRI must provide proof of residence.
• you must get the certificate of citizenship ready as proof of their residency. This will be required during admissions and counseling.

Age Limit:-

• The applicants must not be under the age of 17 and must not be over the age of 30 as of 1 July 2021.

CG PET 2021 eligibility criteria for admissions

• Indian and NRI aspirants must have CG PET qualified 2021.
• Indian and NRI aspirants who have cleared JEE MAIN are also considered eligible for seats reserved for the same reason.
