The eligibility for PDPU includes the students to clear 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry, or any equivalent recognized board examination.
The selection criteria involve students to secure the cut-off required JEE Main.

NRI Eligibility:
- Candidate must have cleared Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with a minimum score of 45%, in practical as well theory. He/She must also clear an equivalent standard examination in the PCM or JEE Main exam.
- In case, Letter Grade / Performance Index or Graded Point Average is awarded instead of percentage marks in the qualifying examination, the equivalence certificate is required from the school authority.
- Such a candidate will have to produce an equivalence certificate of qualifying examination from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.
