National Institute of Technology (Rourkela) Admission

National Level Entrance Examination is considered as the key requirement for admission. Also, the students can take admission on the basis of the LEET examination in the B.Tech program. 

The score for the 10+2 examination is also taken into account, wherein the candidate must have secured 75% (65% for SC/ST) from a known board.

JEE Main Qualifying Cutoff 2021

The institution offers specialization in 14 courses for the B.Tech program for which the criteria for admission remains the same, that is, the required cut-off from JEE Mains Examination, and once the exam is cleared, candidates must apply for JoSAA counseling through which the seats are allotted in different rounds, referring to the score and rank of JEE Mains, and availability of seats.

Once the seat is allotted, the document verification process is started and the fee is to be paid.

Through JEE Mains, one can also take admission in Dual Degree Program, (B. Tech & M. Tech), in NIT Rourkela.

Admission criteria in NIT Rourkela for NRIs:

In NIT NRI Applications are invited to NIT Rourkela. Students who all are willing to take admission in this NIT, have to clear JEE Mains. 

Students have to score 60% and above on their 10+2 in Maths, Chemistry, and Physics to get admission to NIT Rourkela.
