List of Colleges with ZERO Application Fee
Many Indians migrate to different countries to find a better standard living. And their main focus is to save as much as they can. Along with parents, their children move too. These Indian NRI Students then face the humongous obstacle of financing their studies. And as we all know the education costs across the globe are steadily rising. In this environment, there are still a few colleges that allow Students to apply for free. So, if you trying to save money on college applications, then these colleges should be on your list. Before we move ahead with the list of colleges with no application fees, let’s look at what and how much the application fees is. On an average, the application fees for most of the colleges range between $40-$50 range. And there are some schools that charge even higher than this, like Stanford charges $90 as application fees. There are a few top schools that charge somewhere around $75 as application fees. Now assuming you are applying to five different schools, of which three charge $50 and two charge $75, then you’re just spending $300 in applications alone. And that’s not it, sending your test reports would be additional charge per school. Sending SAT to a single school costs $11.25. So you’d be spending another $56.25 in addition to application fees. Now for Indian NRI students that’s not a small change. While planning for college admissions, one has to also consider the application fees. A few schools offer waivers to students by providing them fee waivers, however, that depends on different criteria: The answer to the above question is, “NO!” If your dream school charges an X amount of money as application fees and you are eligible to take admission in that school, you should consider taking that admission. Reason being, education costs are much higher and application fees is like a drop in a bucket. Don’t sacrifice the opportunity to attend your dream school, you might end up regretting that decision later. Or vice versa, choosing a school with low application fee, but you’re not a fit for that school. Below is the list of schools that DO NOT charge any application fee.
