Manish
Hi Manish,
In this scenario you are not eligible for CIWG scheme. There is a residential requirement for CIWG scheme, that you should complete your 11th and 12th from Middle East county to be eligible for CIWG.
So, in this situation you will be treated as normal indian students and not as NRI student. Hope this clarifies.
Thanks,

Sir, If you son is studying in India for 11th and 12th. Then in that case you are not eligible for CIWG or DASA at all. He will be treated at normal indian student. NRI Factor will not come in effect.
I worked more than 10 years in Gulf and returned to India 3 months back on vacation and trying to go back again with in 3 months. presently my VISA and KSA Residential card valid upto Nov 2019 and have all other DASA admission required documents. And my daughter studied her education upto 12th standard in India only. And she also written JEE Mains Exam and got the Rank and also applied for NIT under JOSAA 2019.
Now my daughter interested for getting of admission in NIT college through DASA/ CIWG scheme.
So, is she eligible for OR not , if so is she should SAT certificate Or not?
If the SAT scores are being replaced by JEE Mains for NIT eligibility will OCI (PIO) candidates be eligible for NRI/DASA scheme or do they now compete with local students in General category?
Dear Mr. Balraj, Everything will remain same except that instead of SAT 2 - students now need to write JEE Main and based on their ranks they will be allotted NITs.
Thanks,
