NEET UG 2025 Overview
Since 2019, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has administered the NEET (UG) with the endorsement of both the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Ministry of Education (formerly known as the Ministry of Human Resource Development).
According to Section 14 of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019, NEET (UG) must be administered as a standardized National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET UG) for undergraduate medical education admissions across all medical institutions, ensuring uniformity and fairness in the selection process.
