-
Indian Institute of Information Technology’s (IIITs)
-
School of Planning & Architecture (SPAs)
-
Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs)
JEE Advanced :
-
Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs)
-
Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology(IIST)

-
ISM Dhanbad
Difference between JEE Main and Advanced :
JEE Mains is for those students who are aspiring to study in India’s top most engineering colleges which includes NITs,IIITs,CFTIs and SPAs. To get admission in IITs, IIST, ISM Dhanbad student has to go through JEE Advanced. Those students who has cleared JEE Mains are eligible for JEE Advanced.
Admission Process :
JEE Mains: For NRI Students, the good news is that, preparation for JEE Mains can help them in applying for admission under DASA/CIWG Scheme. Here is the reason behind it: From 2021-22 session onwards, JEE Mains score will be mandatory for DASA/CIWG Scheme for NRIs/PIOs instead of SAT 2 Scores.
On the basis of JEE Main Scores students can get admission in NITs, CFIs under DASA/CIWG Scheme. But the JEE Mains Rank must be high enough in order to get the UG Course & college of your choice.
JEE Advanced: You’ll be allowed to appear for JEE Advanced based on the merit of JEE Main.
College Allotment: Once the JEE Advanced Result is out, you’ve to attend the counseling and choose your prospective streams in the Indian Institute of Technologies (IITs).
Note: It’s to be addressed that JEE exam is mandatory, if you’re aiming to admit in the IITs alone. There’s no alternative exam to on-board India’s renowned IITs.
