About NATA 2022:
NATA stands for "National Aptitude Test in Architecture". It ia an entrance exam to take admissions in Architecture Courses. The exam measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, visual awareness, and critical thinking skills that have been learned over a long period of time, and that are relevant to particular fields of study, i.e. architecture.

NATA 2022 For NRIs (Non-Resident Indians):
The NRI candidate may register in India. While registering, he/she must take the test from any of the test centers of his/her choice in India. The NATA eligibility remains the same. Admission will be granted by the respective admission authorities in accordance with the NRI rules.

The exam will be conducted thrice in 2022 and the dates are June 12, July 03 and July 24.

Indian and NRI Candidates may appear in one or all of the sessions, the best of all scores for the selection process will be considered.

It is a 3-hour long-duration test that takes place in both online and offline mode.

NATA's Exam Course consists of 60 Mathematics and General Aptitude Test questions together (Online) and 2 Drawing Test (Offline) questions.

For both sessions on the official website - nata.in, the admit card will be released separately.

To apply for NATA 2022, there are three eligibility criteria: score a minimum of 25 percent marks in MCQ and Drawing parts, and score equal to or greater than the total qualifying marks (out of 200).

NATA 2022 Eligibility Criteria:
There are certain factors that must be met by an Indian and NRI candidate before applying for an examination. They are as follows:
Age Criteria: There is no age limit to apply for a National Fitness Test in Architecture.
Qualifying Examination: Carried out under the 10 + 2 examination scheme or the 10+ 3 diploma examination. Applicants appearing in 2022 are also eligible to apply for NATA.
The International Baccalaureate Diploma passed/appeared after 10 years of schooling with Mathematics as a compulsory subject of examination.
Qualifying Exam Subjects: 10 + 2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and 10 + 3 Diploma Holders (any stream)/appearing recognized as one of the subjects by the Central / State Government with Mathematics.
Qualifying Marks: 50 percent aggregate marks for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and 50 percent aggregate marks for a total of 10 + 2.
A total of 50 percent results in 10 + 3 degrees and mathematics as well.

NATA 2022 Application Form:
By taking a few simple steps, filling out the application form is interactive in nature. The procedure is fully online and as follows:
Step-1: Visit NATA's official nata.in website and move to Online Application 2022.
Step-2: Fill out personal details such as name, name of the parent, DOB, address of the correspondence.8 Digit numeric Application Numbers for applicants will be generated. After which applicants must pick a password and security query to log in further.
Step-3: Use the credentials (Application Number and Password) to log in again, and upload the photos in the format. Recent color image scanned, ideally in white background and transparent signature must be transferred to white paper in jpg/jpeg format. Follow the table below to know more about the Image and Signature:

Step-4: Mention academic details, marks, and subjects of qualifying exams to proceed carefully further.
Step-5: Payment of NATA Application Fee is the final step towards completing the application form successfully.
Indian and NRI Candidates can use debit cards/credit cards and net banking to make payment via online mode (Electronic Payment Gateway). No need to send the NATA application form in offline mode or by post.
Step-6: A confirmation page considered as proof of registration and successful application form submission.

NATA 2022 Admit Card:
Council of Architecture(CoA) will issue NATA hall tickets for all successfully registered Indian and NRI applicants. All Indian and NRI Candidates abroad will need to enter the registration number and password to access the admit card. The following details are indicated on the admit card.

Important Points Related to Admit Card:

One Photo ID Proof (Voter ID, Pan Card / Aadhar Card/ Driving License / e-Aadhar, or any other ID) must be held at the examination center together with the hall ticket.

Make sure not to mutilate/distort the picture and signature printed on hall tickets.

Preserve the admit card until the admission process is done.

If the paper is not created at NATA 2022, the candidacy will be canceled.
NATA 2022 Exam Centers:
It's expected that there will be 190 exam centers for the 2022 session. Exam Center allocation is subject to availability at a single exam center/city of more than 200 applicants. The authority rests with the Architectural Council.
There is a provision to choose Dubai as the preferred Exam Center. NRI Candidates choosing Dubai as their center of review can choose two more centers as alternatives.

The Council reserves the right to add or remove certain notified test zones.

The Council reserves the right to allocate any test zones other than those chosen by the candidates..
Note: NRI Candidates who opt for Dubai as their test center must pay an additional fee of INR 8000. As a city of examination, Dubai can not be chosen as the second or third choice.

NATA 2022 Syllabus:
NATA 2022 Syllabus has not rekeased yet. The Council of Architecture (COA) will be released the NATA 2022 syllabus along with the brochure. Candidates are advised to carefully go through the syllabus to avoid the chances of missing out on any significant topic. NATA syllabus 2022 consists of all the topics of mathematics, general aptitude, and drawing from which to prepare the question paper. The Council of Architecture will conduct NATA for admission to B.Arch courses offered by the country's recognized institutes.
