Calculation of NTA Score
There will the multiple steps in order to calculate NTA Score. As per NTA each sitting for JEE Main exam have its own percentile score. It means that the topper of each sitting will get a percentile score of 100 while those who falls in between highest and lowest scores will get percentile scores accordingly. Subject Wise (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) percentile will also be calculated apart from complete percentile score. Percentile scores will be calculated till seven decimal places in order to avoid duplicacy and discrepancies.
After all the exam sittings for 14 days, all the percentile score will get merged into a single list and then the final percentile score will be calculated and then the overall Merit and Ranking will be published in the descending order.
If the two students get same percentile score then mainly two conditions will get checked, First which student get higher percentile score in Mathematics, then physics and later on Chemistry and Second the candidate who is older in age.
