FAQ JEE Score for B.Tech:
Answer 1: JEE Main 2020 Cutoff is the minimum score necessary to clear the examination.
Answer2 :The qualifying cutoff for JEE Main 2020, which consists of the minimum marks to be secured for JEE Advanced, will be released along with the result. However, the admission cutoff will be released as minimum ranks for higher chances of allotment when JoSAA is being conducted. After every round of allotment, the admission cutoff will be declared.
Answer 3 : The category wise cutoff for JEE Main 2020 has increased from that of last year for each specific category. As a result, the stakes are higher for aspirants to acquire better ranks and composite scores.
General: 80-89
OBC: 70-74
SC: 50-54
ST: 40-44
Answer 4 : JEE Main Cutoff is of two types - admission and qualifying. The qualifying cutoff for JEE Main is the minimum marks needed to be eligible for contesting in the next round of JEE Advanced Exam. The admission cutoff is the one released by NTA.
Answer 5 :In case your parents hold certificates of Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), only then you'll be eligible to sit in the JEE Main Exam. Otherwise, you will have to apply as a foreign candidate.
