DASA 2021: Eligibility Criteria
All applicants need to be meet the below eligibility criteria to apply under the DASA 2021 Scheme. So eligibility factors like Age, Residential Status, Academic eligibility, Marks required in 12th. & SAT Subject Tests Score (or JEE Main -from 2021 onwards) are checked.
Age

Applicant must be born after Oct 1, 1995
|
Residential Status
|
NRIs, PIOs and OCIs & Foreign Nationals residing and studying abroad for the last 2 years are allowed to apply.

Academic Eligibility
|
An applicant must have qualified 11th and 12th grade from a foreign university abroad
Minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA in the 12th grade is mandatory to become eligible.
The applicant that has appeared for the 12th-grade exams and is likely to get results by Sept 15, 2021, can also apply.

SAT Subject Tests To Do

Physics, Chemistry and Maths Level 2
|
Minimum SAT Score Required
|
Applicant with the minimum SAT score of 1800 in Physics, Chemistry & Maths 2 are eligible
Candidates must use their College Board Account to send teir SAT score to MNNIT, Allahabad directly.
If the applicant has written SAT multiple times then the applicant’s maximum SAT score is considered by MNNIT, Allahabad

If you are from a Middle Eastern Country then you might also be eligible for another scheme called CIWG.
What’s CIWG?
CIWG stands for Children of Indian Workers in Gulf.
Countries that fall under CIWG are Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Iran, and Iraq. The NRI applicants who fall into this category must submit their proof of either parent working in a Gulf/Parent Visa/Parents work permit/Certificate from the organization parent has been working for.
The total numbers of admissions under DASA scheme are over 2500. I.e. 1/3rd quota of admissions are allotted to Children of Indian Workers in Gulf (CIWGs) & 2/3rd quota admissions are allotted to Non-CIWG scheme (UG students from the rest of the world).
