And of course, you may have to build up your self-confidence and take remedial action from lowering of self-esteem. International Baccalaureate offers a wonderful opportunity to meet the challenge called life, in other words, IB is not that much textbook oriented comparatively. Your outlook, extra-curricular activities, and of course hard work will be rewarding. It could take you through a harrowing experience, stress, and strain. And that too needs to be completed when you are still in your teens. But once you managed to get a perfect 45 (that means a 45/45 score) in IB, you are relieved of all stressful days. And the excitement begins. Before going into the specific tip or advice, what you should have is a lot of common sense, patience, and self-confidence. Your consistency in working is another virtue that cannot be overlooked. You should discipline yourself with a regular study schedule. That schedule needs to be practical, feasible, and tangible. For example, putting a 23 hour per day preparation schedule is not feasible. Managing your time for the IB student is not easy either. You can put alarms, sticky note, visual indications, calendars and reminders and whatnot. But the best option is what you choose according to your strength and weakness analysis. Your preparing early is the right beginning of scheduling. You can start doing some work on your holidays before plunging into the final year of IB begins. You can keep abreast of things happening around you. You can sharpen your skills in IB Maths HL. The same emphasis can be put on other subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and language. A superfluous attitude is not going to help you to reach anywhere the dream score. You should dive deep into the subject, keep notes, revise and of course memorize. Memorizing is not mugging up. In order that knowledge to get registered to your brain, you have to consistently and regularly immerse yourself in the subject content for two years. But take rest activities whenever you get tired. Sleep is also very essential as well. Your posture while preparing also counts. As IB changes the syllabi often, you should make sure that you follow the latest. Also, make sure you make notes as per the new syllabus. You need to be alert on the test books, syllabus and subjects, get hold of the latest and proper textbooks. Not all textbooks would help you reach your goal. Take some time to find out the most appropriate textbook for each subject. You should avoid procrastination and never leave a problem unsolved. Whenever there is a problem, try to solve it then and there itself. You should have a solid foundation (basic skills, SL) before you can build the beautiful arches and domes at the top (advanced skills, HL).
