All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) Bhopal is a public university located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. AIIMS Bhopal is one of the six AIIMS colleges that was established in 2012 under Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The institute is recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI). AIIMS Bhopal received the “Kayakalp Award” in 2017 for its excellence in the field of science and medicine. AIIMS Bhopal has collaborated with IGNOU, the Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INAMS) and the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO). It offers a six-month PG Certificate Course in Medical Management of CBRNE disasters through open and distance learning for MBBS doctors. AIIMS Bhopal placement drives are conducted annually for final-year students. According to NIRF, 64% of PG students were placed with a median salary of INR 1 LPA.
