NEET : NTA Allows To Change Exam City Till April
The National Testing Agency has extended the clause for Indian & NRI / PIO / OCI candidates to make changes to the NEET examination city in the application form. According to the official notification issued on the NTA website, due to the COVID-19 lockdown imposed, the NTA will allow NRI candidates to have the choice of an exam city for candidates as an exam centre.
As per the notification, NTA would make every effort to allocate the City of Examination Center as preferred by the applicant, but if the capacity available in the requested city exceeds its limits, the administration may allocate a different city to the candidates and, in that regard, the decision of the administration will be considered final.
Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank (Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank) also gave this information through a tweet. He shared the NTA notice regarding NEET 2020, writing that 'in view of the worsening situation presently caused by the corona virus, I had advised the Director General of NTA to facilitate the change in the option of the city of examination'.
